LDP, Mumbai a great success!

Now, Dressed for Success! Lessons for Life & Leadership Fun, frolic, and lots of learning, defines the experience of the first ever LDP conducted in Mumbai, India. The three-day programme hosted by TVI Express, India was well received and saw participation from around 100 attendants. All those who attended the retreat came with one ulterior objective—to hone their skill sets for better business success. However, the event promised them much more. Besides enhancing leadership skills, the participants were taught how to balance life and work, how to relax amidst pressure, and how to lead a better, healthy life. Business Exercises Although the event kicked off with the basics of MLM business; it gradually forayed into other interactive exercises, focusing on people and management skills. The participants were taken through a series of business improvement exercises, such as goal setting, relationship building, role plays, body language, objection handling, team-building, and so on. Members were also taught how to effectively network with one another. There were lot of team building activities, too, in which members were divided into groups and assigned specific tasks. Through this activity, the members learnt how to become a team player, acknowledge each other, and accept both positive feedback and criticism. In short, they were trained to be just not leaders but also good managers. The lighter side On the fun side, the attendees learned relaxation and stress management techniques through yoga. They also took part in water games and other fun activities. The attendees took part in these games so actively that it brought out the child within from each of them. After the routine, participants had a gala time that went through the wee hours of the night. However, they were back with a bang at 6 am sharp to resume their leadership lessons. Rewards and Recognition PARTICIPANTS WERE RECOGNIZED AND REWARDED UNDER VARIOUS CATEGORIES. Mr. Dharmendra Singh Choudhary from Indore was conferred the ‘Leading Star’ award for exhibiting inititiative and enthusiasm throughout the event. Silver medals were given out to teams that displayed a positive spirit throughout the programme. Certificates were given out to all those who attended the leadership retreat. TVI Express gift sets along with TVI Express formal merchandise was distributed as souvenirs to all participants. This retreat proved to be a life-changer for the participants. They left all enlightened and motivated to get to work. The holistic experience actually DRESSED THEM FOR SUCCESS, both personally & professionally. The enthusiasm & appreciation of the attendees has motivated us at TVI Express, to arrange a series of LDPs in the near future & polish more & more of our star leaders to become DIAMONDS!
